DESCRIPTION

In the area of Pian d’Organo in Tarquinia (VT), CR Project Service has built a photovoltaic system on the covering of the new logistic center Conad Tirreno (CEDI). The structural form of CEDI has been designed by the general contractor 3EPC to optimize the operation of logistics, respecting all the standards of environmental sustainability, and focusing above all on energy saving. For this reason, even the realization of the roof is innovative, without smoke and heat evacuators, but with a forced suction system to have more space for the installation of the photovoltaic system.

Panels have been positioned on the rooftop in order to develop a power of 1000 kW and in this manner, they cover about 30% of the total energy consumption, making sure that 90% of the energy produced by the plant is self consumed.

In this context of energy efficiency, CR Project Service has also installed the public lighting system outside the CEDI, using high efficiency LED spotlights.
